Venue Information

Cameron Indoor Stadium, located in the heart of Durham, is one of the most iconic venues in college basketball. Opened in 1940, this historic arena is home to the Duke University Blue Devils men's and women's basketball teams. With a seating capacity of approximately 9,314, it is renowned for its intimate atmosphere and passionate fan base.

The stadium hosts a variety of events throughout the year, primarily focusing on college basketball games. The excitement peaks during the NCAA season, where fans flock to witness thrilling matchups and rivalries. Ticket prices can vary significantly based on the event category, with premium games often commanding higher prices due to demand.

Positive reviews highlight the electric atmosphere during games, with many fans praising the venue's acoustics and sightlines. The rich history and tradition associated with Cameron Indoor Stadium make it a must-visit for sports enthusiasts and event-goers alike.

Seating Information

The seating arrangement at Cameron Indoor Stadium is designed to enhance the spectator experience. The best sections are typically located close to the court, such as sections 1-5 and 16-20, which offer unparalleled views of the action. Fans seated here can feel the intensity of the game and are often part of the vibrant crowd energy.

Conversely, sections located further from the court, particularly those at the back of the arena, may not provide as clear a view of the game. While these seats are more affordable, they lack the immersive experience that many fans seek when attending a live event at this prestigious venue.

Parking Information

Parking options around Cameron Indoor Stadium can be limited during major events. The best parking facility is located at Blue Zone Parking Lot, situated at 100 Towerview Drive, which offers convenient access to the stadium. Pricing typically ranges from $10 to $20 depending on the event.

Other parking options include street parking and nearby lots; however, these can fill up quickly on game days. It is advisable to arrive early or consider alternative transportation methods to avoid parking hassles. Visitors should be cautious of areas where parking is prohibited or restricted to avoid fines.
